About the Artist

My name is Jordan Marie Drapeau. My Nakota name is “Hoye Waste Win”, which means Pretty Voice women. I am enrolled member of the Yankton Sioux Tribe, Ihanktonwan Nakota.

JD Creations is a young contemporary artist that specializes in the ancient Native American art form of Quillwork.  Most of my artwork consists of earrings, bracelets, chokers and medallions using the wrapping technique. My grandparents and elders of the tribe have passed down the skill of quillwork to me.
